Life has been crazy since back-to-school season, but now I am ready to get back into the swing of my awesome crafting life. It’s time to accomplish the things I have been pinning on Pinterest, and what better way to draw inspiration than to share with you some of my upcoming craft projects!
Pinterest-Inspired Craft Idea #1:
I found this super cute Ruffle Blanket post on Pinterest from 2 Little Hooligans that I absolutely adore! I have a friend who will be having her second child in 3 short months, so I think a recreation of this awesome baby lovey will make a perfect gift!
Pinterest-Inspired Craft Idea #2:
Call me crazy, but I have ALWAYS wanted to reupholster a chair. I have no idea why, but I just have to do it. I guess once you learn how to reupholster a chair you can conquer the world! That’s the way I see it, anyway. 🙂
Now that I have the tutorial from familyhandyman.com (thanks to Pinterest, of course), I am going to head over to this cool website I discovered (buyfabrics.com) that sells discount upholstery fabric, and reupholster the perfect chair once I find it. They have a Robert Allen fabric collection, which I am totally inspired by. I am sure I will be ordering a few things from that collection very soon!
Pinterest-Inspired Craft Idea #3:
This last Pinterest craft idea comes from Shannon Makes Stuff. You take old picture frames and turn them into cork boards for your child’s artwork! Since my oldest daughter began school, I have been trying to feature some of her work on the refrigerator each week. I think this is a great alternative to hanging a bunch of papers on the refrigerator (if you read my previous post, you know I am trying to remedy that problem..ha!). Plus, you can decorate your home in the process. Love it!
I hope to have these craft ideas done with plenty of time to make and share all my Christmas craft ideas from Pinterest. Wish me luck!
Feel free to follow my boards on Pinterest. I have a lot great craft ideas and recipes pinned for all to enjoy. 🙂
