Tonight we are going to a Christmas party for our Sunday School class and I cannot wait! The evening will be packed with people, white elephant presents that being with Y and of course, FOOD! Since this momma has a pretty filled schedule, I wanted to bring something that was quick, easy, and of course, delicious. So, I picked up some SeaPak Shrimp Spring Rolls at Walmart after sampling them at a demo and all the ingredients for an easy dipping sauce to go along with it.
These SeaPak Spring Rolls are the bomb. They are the perfect size for an appetizer, and they taste really, really good. I love pretty much any kind of spring roll, especially when there’s some kind of dipping sauce involved. Sweet and Sour Sauce is one of my favorite sauces, so I wanted to make some to complement the spring rolls for the party. Here’s the recipe– oh my word, it’s so easy and so so good!
- ⅔ Cup Water
- ⅓ Cup White Vinegar
- ¼ Cup Soy Sauce
- ¾ Cup Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Ketchup
- 2 Tbsps Corn Starch
- Wisk all ingredients together in a sauce pan on medium/high heat. Bring to a boil. Boil until sauce is well blended and thickened. Serve Hot!
I could not believe how easy it was to make the sauce! I whipped it together as the Spring Rolls were baking in the oven. Easy peasy!
