As of today, I am officially 3 weeks away from having baby #3. I cannot believe it! And, this baby, being a boy, is going to be a whole new experience for all of us. For the past almost 7 years, our home has been filled with nothing but girly kid things. What a culture shock a little boy will be! But, we are excited and happy to welcome the change. In the mean time, I wanted to give my girls one last final girly hoo-rah before their life is turned around with little baby boy stuff. What would be more perfect than a Surprise FROZEN Sister Play Date? I can think of nothing else, especially since FROZEN the Movie just came out and teaches the importance of a good relationship between sisters! What a great thing for my girls to experience and learn from a quality movie! To get their fun FROZEN Sister Play Date under way, I stopped at Walmart and checked out their selection of Disney’s FROZEN merchandise. They had a huge selection the girls were going to love! So, I grabbed a few things to surprise them with and headed towards home. Our local Walmart has a Subway (Eat Fresh!) and on the way out I noticed they were promoting Disney’s FROZEN Fresh Fit kids meals. I picked two up for the girls to munch on before they had their fun Sister Play Date. Their meals came in these cute reusable FROZEN Bags with Olaf being silly on the front. The girls loved it!Their FROZEN Subway Fresh Fit meal came with a hologram snow globe card toy and delicious, healthy food, of course! The hologram card was a hit with a girls. It was fun seeing them move the card back and forth and try to figure out how a hologram worked. Once they finished their meals, I covered the kitchen table with snow (a white table cloth is all I did– nothing fancy), opened all the toys, and let them play to their heart’s content! I, of course, had to get photos of them playing… who wouldn’t want to document these cute faces? They had a blast with the little FROZEN character figurines. It’s so funny to watch my just-turned 2 year old pretend play. Seeing her little personality blossom like that is such a joy to see!I got them each their own FROZEN Snow Globe wand that plays music. They both felt like princesses when they were playing with them (the youngest of course has to learn not to use hers as a club and hit her sister with it– but we’ll get there :))!Here’s my oldest teaching my youngest how to hold a baby using their FROZEN dolls. I’d say that’s great practice for when baby brother comes! Way to teach, big sister!
The girls really enjoyed their Surprise Sister Play Date. They played for close to an hour at the table with all the fun toys I brought them. And, when they woke up this morning, they were playing with them again before big sis went to school!
I’d say the FROZEN toys, FROZEN the Movie and the FROZEN Subway Fit Meals were a success! What do you think?
