Summer is winding down and my oldest daughter is about to go back to school— second grade. Wow! I want to be able to do some things with her that will make these last few weeks memorable and fun before she is back in the classroom all day. I, of course, am always trying to find affordable ways of making memories with her, and Walgreens has made it possible with their new paperless coupons on their Walgreens app! Paperless coupons are manufacturer coupons that you can electronically “clip” right from your Walgreens mobile app and redeem in-store by them scanning your phone at checkout. No messing with scissors, wasting printer ink or carrying around a bulky coupon organizer. All your savings can be collected right on your Smart Phone when you download the Walgreens app and sync your Balance Rewards membership. Woohoo!
You guys, you don’t even know how much I LOVE paperless coupons and how stoked I am that Walgreens now offers them! I literally live 4 blocks from our nearest Walgreens, so the fact that I can select the coupons I want right from my phone, take it into the store, get the products I want, then have the cashier scan them and see my savings be applied with no printing and no sorting of coupons, is absolutely amazing!
I clipped quite a few coupons because they were a great value! They had a $1.50 off any Starbucks Via drink.. and they are super yummy, so I had to get that for myself! They also had $2 off Dasani Sparkling Water and thought that would be perfect for my daughter to drink. She loves bubbly drinks! I thought that would be a fun way to connect during the younger kids’ nap times… over some refreshing, Summer-time drinks!
Once the two little kiddos went down for naps, my oldest and I sat out on the back porch and had some mother/daughter bonding time. It’s so important to connect one on one with your kiddos, and to really let them know how individually special they are!
I really enjoy the convenience of paperless coupons! I am a frugal gal who is super busy with three kiddos, blogging and a little business on the side, so the fact that I don’t have to cut and sort coupons really takes the pressure off! These savings will be great when I have to purchase stuff for her throughout the school year. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to bond with the ones you love. I always try to remember that she values time with me more than expensive things and expensive activities!
