Well, it’s been about a month and a half now since our home has been on the market and we have had a lot of interest, but no bites! I am now reflecting on the month and taking an inventory on what could possibly be the issue and what I can do to speed things along, and one of those is our main little pink bathroom. I absolutely LOVE the fact that it’s still original and pink, but the poor little place needs a little bit of updating to give it a little face lift.
There are 3 main things I want to update that I think will help move this house selling business along– the sink faucet, the light fixture and the shower area. The faucet and light fixture both work great but they are looking a little old and dingy. I hope to be able to find some nicer mid-century items to replace them with and thankfully, we live in a wonderful area full of mid-century treasures, so I don’t foresee that being a problem!
The biggest improvement I think we could do to help open up the space and give it a nice update is to replace the shower curtain with a shower door. Not only will that let more light come in, but it will make the space seem so much bigger! I have been looking around at different doors and I think I found the most economical and quality solution within our budget, and I am quite excited about it– the Sterling shower doors with ComforTrack technology!
The things I really like about this shower door besides it being super affordable, is that it has this track that is soft, durable and easy to clean! You can apply pressure to it and it will collapse down so you can lean or sit on the tub and wash the yourself, the kiddos, or your pets- pain free! All shower doors I have ever experienced always had those hard tracks that you can’t even lean against due to it hurting so bad. But, not only does this shower door have a more comfortable way for you to lean or sit, it is durable and keeps the shower door perfectly in place when it’s sliding around. Sounds affordable and durable, and available for both shower and bath doors! Maybe I will update both of my bathrooms with these now! 🙂
So, what do you think about these Sterling shower doors with ComforTrack technology? Is this something that I should take the leap to buy? Would it be helpful during your bath time routines? Let me know below, I’d love your opinions to help my decision!
