#GoldfishMix #Walmart #CollectiveBias
Goldfish® crackers have played an active role in all of my kids’ lives ever since they became toddlers. Every Wednesday night and Sunday morning, they would sit around a small, round table at church with a handful of their little friends, enjoying Goldfish crackers. Goldfish crackers were always a part of their church nursery routine, and those experiences rooted feelings of nostalgia when they consume them even today.
Even now, when we pass the Goldfish crackers in the cracker aisle at Walmart, the kids scream at the top of their lungs, “Goldfish crackers, Mama! Goldfish crackers! Can we get some? Can we?”
They know this snack will never disappoint, be delicious, and will help satisfy their snacking desires. It’s pretty great, if you ask me!
Of course, I couldn’t resist their request for some delicious Goldfish crackers, so we picked up Goldfish Pretzels and Goldfish Colors. This should last a while and be enough to make a yummy, wholesome trail mix recipe that will be great for at home or on the go! We are in the car a lot, so I need to have well-balanced handy snacks with me so we skip the drive-thru, better for our wallets!
Goldfish Crackers Trail Mix Recipe
This Goldfish Crackers Trail Mix recipe is super easy to make, I had my 4 year old help me make it. She really loved that!
Dump 2 cups of Pretzel Goldfish, 2 cups of Goldfish Colors, a cup of dried cherries, a cup of white chocolate chips and a cup of vanilla yogurt raisins into a gallon-sized zip top bag.
Once everything is in the zip top bag, you close it up and……
shake, shake, shake. Woohoo!
The end result is this beautiful mixture of sweet, salty, cheesy, chocolatey, fruity, crunchy goodness. It’s a healthier alternative to a lot of snacks out there, and it is very appealing to the child (and adult) eye.
“Mama… Goldfish crackers!”
What works best for our family is to give the kids individual bags with the trail mix in it. That way, there is portion and germ control. It’s a win/win!
