Brownie Cheesecake Recipe

  • 1 Fudge Brownie cake mix, plus the ingredients to make the brownies as instructed on the box
  • 8 oz block of cream cheese
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  1. Prepare the brownies according to the box's instructions and pour the batter into a greased pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whip the block of cream cheese with a hand mixer until it's smooth and creamy. Add sugar, egg and vanilla and whip completely. Spoon cheesecake on top of batter in evenly-spaced dollops, leaving some brownie batter showing in between dollops.
  3. You may have extra cheesecake batter left over at this point, so do with it what you wish. :)
  4. Using a butter knife, cut the cheesecake into the brownie batter, making a marbling effect.
  5. Bake at a 325 degree oven for 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your oven and the pan you're baking in.
