Long Time, No See!

Mi Sombrero

Hola Amigos! It sure has been a LOONNGGGGGGGGGG time. Over 6 months to be more exact.

Wow, time does fly by when you’re having fun.

Or are really, super-dee dooper busy.

Or both.

Sooo, I thought I would share with you in pictures (and some words) what has been going on in the past several months.

Victoria School Day

First, my oldest daughter started kindergarten this year in a Spanish immersion school. This means everything is taught to her completely in Spanish.

Muy bien, no?

Needless to say, that has been taking up a lot of my time and energy. Volunteering, homework (or translating the homework–that’s a whole chore in itself), the list goes on and on.

Vivian into stuff

And, when my oldest is in school, I am super busy with my younger daughter, who is now 14.5 months old. And walking. And into everything.

Her favorite activity is eating books and drinking milk. I kid you not.

Oh well, at least she’s cute! 🙂

And last, I took on the role of the cookie manager for my oldest’s Girl scout troop and this is what I have been dealing with for the past two months:

GS Cookie Cases

Yes, Girl Scout cookies have taken over my home. There is one week left in the sale and I cannot WAIT until I can be done with these cookies. Being the cookie manager is like a full time job. it is NO JOKE.

I say all of this because this is a fraction of what has been going on in my life. As you can see, my schedule is quite full.

But I really do miss blogging. I have always felt the urge/calling to write and share my life with others and now that things are calming down and we are into the groove of school and the parenting of a once-infant-now-toddler, I feel I have a lot more time to dedicate to this craft.

Get it, craft? Har. Har. 🙂

So, bear with me as I get back up on my blogging feet again. I would love your support and to know that this re-commitment is what I am supposed to be doing.

I have always felt that tug to come back to it. So here I am!

Love you all.
