Popcorn– the food that brings everyone together. We eat it at home together, we go to the movies and devour it together, we hang out with our friends together and eat it… it’s everywhere! It is the perfect entertainment snack that my family and I love and when we see it and smell it– we want some! Whether it’s popped fresh at home or microwaved in a bag, it’s delicious.. and so versatile!

Whenever we have a family movie or game night, popcorn is usually always involved because that’s what my girls usually always request. Sometimes, I like to spice it up a bit by adding fun flavors and items that really enhance the flavor of the popcorn– both savory and sweet. This past family hangout, I didn’t only make one popcorn recipe.. I made THREE! A recipe┬áto suit my husband, who loves spicy and savory (he’s not much of a sweets person), a recipe to suit me (I am all about sweet, buttery and salty… yum!) and a recipe to suit my girls (fun and flavorful!). I was able to create all three recipes using the ACT II popcorn I purhased at Sam’s Club during their demo this past weekend. Plus I downloaded the Ibotta app to save $2! They offered their popcorn paired with crunched OREOS, and I liked it very much! Delish!

Three Popcorn Recipes

1. Spicy Ranch Popcorn Seasoning & Mix

Spicy Ranch Popcorn Seasoning

Like I mentioned above, my husband is not much of a sweets man. In fact, he would choose salty and spicy over sweet any day. I made this Spicy Ranch Popcorn Seasoning just for him. It is goood! It’s super easy to make– I had everything right in my pantry to make it.

Just 4 ingredients and we are on our way to some spicy deliciousness! If you don’t like a lot of spice, just cut out the amount of cayenne pepper of the recipe. It will still taste good. čÖé

Popcorn with Slim Jims #PopIntoSams #adTo give it a little meaty-ness… chop up some Slim Jims in bite-sized pieces and toss them into the mix– and now you have a manly, meaty, spicy popcorn mix. Oh Yea!

2. “S’mores” Popcorn Mix

S'mores Popcorn Mix #PopIntoSams #adMy popcorn tastes are the complete opposite of my husband. I love the salty, savory flavors, but I also adore sweet as well. All together!

I came up with the S’mores-inspired popcorn mix that involves chopped up marshmallow rice squares and my favorite crunchy candy minis, both of which I found at Sam’s Club along with the ACT II popcorn.

3. Edible Popcorn Necklace

And last, but not least, let’s not forget about the kiddos! My girls love their popcorn snacks– especially if there’s a fun way they can eat them! I thought these Edible Popcorn necklaces would be PERFECT for them to wear during our movie/family nights. They can eat and snack as they go. A fun piece of edible jewelry for them, and less mess for me. It’s a win all around if you ask me!
