Reversible Chalk Board Fabric Table Mat

Did you know that there is chalkboard FABRIC??? When I heard this, I about passed. out. How cool! And what was even cooler was that I could hop in my car, drive down to my local Joann Fabric store, and buy some! WOOOHOO! Giving Back with Fiskars Scissors: Reusable Sandwich/Snack Bag Tutorial

Disclosure CBiasMy daughter just began her second year of Girl Scouts recently and she absolutely loves going and learning new things!

During the school year she and her troop of 24 friends (yes, she has a HUGE troop!) get together twice a month for fun crafts, games, songs and more that teach them how to become responsible and to learn a whole plethora of life skills. #LightMyWay to Nighttime Sewing Projects with @Energizer Night Headlight! #shop #cbias

Disclosure CBias

Being a mother of 2 young kiddos can make crafting/sewing time very limited– especially during the day. That being said, the only thing really left for me to do is nighttime sewing while the kiddos are fast asleep. With my crafting time being mainly at night, it can be really hard to do projects because the light in my craft room is terrible! I really need a bright headlight or something to solve this issue!

So, finally getting fed up with my current awful night light situation, I shopped my local Wal Mart to find a solution. My goal was to find a light that was compact yet powerful and would allow me to work 100% hands-free. You can check out my shopping experience on Google Plus. read more

Hanging Tooth Pillow Tutorial

My 6 year old started losing her baby teeth this year and recently discovered that tooth number 3 is loose and will soon be on its way to the Tooth Fairy!

So, instead of risking her losing her tooth under her pillow, or having the Tooth Fairy wake her at night, I made her this super cute Tooth Pillow that will hang on the outside of her bedroom door.

hanging tooth pillowIsn’t it darling??

Would you love to know how to make it?

It’s super easy, I PROMISE.

Here’s what you’ll need to do this (in addition to your sewing machine and thread of course):Tooth Pillow SuppliesThe reason I chose felt as my choice of fabric is because it does not fray. I wanted to make a pillow without having to turn the fabric. Call me lazy, but I like to sew these little projects quickly. Not having to turn fabric probably cuts my time in half! read more
