Summer is about 2/3 of the way through– can you believe it? For us homeschooling family, it’s actually about through completely, as my plan for our upcoming school year will be August 1st. Woo! Just around the corner. This summer has just flown by and now that my youngest is at an age where we can go out and do more things, we have filled our time with a lot of Summer-esque activities. Our focus will soon shift to back-to-school things, and with that, we can’t take away from those family activities that hold us close as a family. So, I have come up with 5 FREE activities we can do as a family during our back-to-school months!

Back to school is just around the corner, my friends! Are you ready? Don’t worry, I’m not either. You’re not alone! This past weekend I finally bought my oldest daughter’s uniforms. I haven’t even begun to shop for school supplies and school starts in 2 weeks. Let the panic begin… ahhh!!!!
This weekend, along with my uniform shopping spree, I bought these nifty bento boxes for my kids for back to school. I pack all 3 kiddos’ lunches on a weekly basis for school, so they needed a really durable container that would hold all of their lunch in one organized place.
Back-to-school time is just around the corner, so these next few weeks are going to be busy prepping and getting ready for all three kids to go to school! My oldest daughter will be going into the 3rd grade and my youngest two will be going to pre-school at the same place. Last school year was a lot of lessons learned. First, I had a hard time getting my daughter to school on time. I promised myself this year that it would not happen again, so in August I am making a plan for all my kids to be up, fed and ready for the day.
